The Redwood Guys are a small team of timber professionals working with small mills around New Zealand. Our Mills are sourcing speciality timbers not just Redwood but Lawson Cypress Japanese Cedar Totara Rimu from around the country cutting some of New Zealands most beautiful timber.

We support only New Zealand grown timbers and locally produced products. We believe that imported timber products are both environmentally and economically a poor choice. We support local plantation growers and manufacturers to grow better jobs and businesses in New Zealand.
We deal directly with builders, architects and home-owners cutting out the middleman. This means we delivering our customers better priced locally produced timber. Our Timber grading is to the highest standards and exceeds quality found in imported timbers. ​

We created The Redwood Guys as a small specialty timber business and are passionate about Redwood and all New Zealand grown timbers and works with you, the Mill and the Machinists to get the product prefect and delivered on time. We are a small team so we go out of our way to ensure your needs are met when you work with The Redwood Guys.

All timber is hand cut and visually graded by a human to ensure only the best timber makes our grades. This is why your timber is cut to order and needs 8 - 20 weeks lead time, you cant rush quality.
